Today, NWILS Board and staff is taking a creative, new approach with consulting services by expanding our "workforce" through outsourcing some field consulting to select member libraries.  This approach fosters leadership, strengthens colleague relationships, and enhances library development efforts regionwide.  We call it "The Special Project Consulting Service."

This service is available only to the libraries within
Northwest LSA's 19 counties...

• Prepping for automation, including inventory, weeding, cataloging, SILO/MARC record submissions, automation software, hardware purchases, MARC copy cataloging, retro- conversion options, barcoding options
• Room makeover designs/decorating 
• Website design (PLONE software primarily) 
• Greeting new directors, acting as mentors
• Other projects approved at discretion of NWILS Administrator
